At PMRC, we offer opportunities for education through training, speakers, and networking. The first full day of the conference is dedicated to classroom-style user training, as well as dedicated face-to-face meetings with PracticeMatch staff members.
In various sessions, industry experts cover upcoming trends, challenges, industry best practices, and innovations. Some topics from past conferences include fostering physician retention, building credibility and rapport, and rural recruitment.
Throughout the conference, there are a variety of opportunities to network with your peers. We offer various training sessions, seminars, roundtable discussions, and nightly events.
This year we welcome Jenn Donahue PhD, a retired US Navy Captain and former Regimental Commodore, who will present "Becoming the Warrior: Strategies to Attain Your Greatest Goals." In this transformative keynote, Jenn Donahue exposes the reasons you and your team are not moving forward. With her five-step method, developed through scientific research and personal experiences, she provides the audience with the keys to moving forward into their potential. Her story-driven approach underscores the importance of believing in yourself and your team, and what's needed to reach those unattainable dreams.
On the first day of the conference, we hold a 3-part recruitment training called Provider Recruitment Bootcamp, hosted by one of our Client Account Managers or Trainers. The first session serves as an introduction for recruiters just entering the industry, and covers terminology, an industry overview, role definitions, and the differentiation between specialties regarding training and timelines.
In the second session, recruiters will learn how to apply the tools they've obtained. We also discuss available resources, sourcing, interviewing, screening, and the offer process. Recruiters will learn how to use best practices to move providers through their talent pipelines for effective hiring.
During the last session, recruiters will learn to develop a process flow chart, build SMART goals, and look at their organization's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how to optimize the performance of a recruitment team and establish sustainable recruitment processes.
A variety of provider recruiters from all different backgrounds give us the pleasure of hosting them at PMRC each year. These topics range from rural recruitment, AI in Recruitment, Immigration, to data-driven recruiting, budgets, and more. You'll walk away from PMRC with knowledge and insight that you can use to better yourself and advance your career.
During the conference, we hold a client focus group to gather feedback from attendees on their provider recruitment needs - challenges they're facing, things they need extra help with and to gauge feedback on new solutions and features in our product roadmap.
We take feedback from our clients and attendees on how we can improve the conference. This includes things you didn't particularly enjoy, things you like to see more of, and how the conference is beneficial to you. You also get a say in the location of the conference for the following year!
During PMRC, we hold two major events — the PMRC welcome reception and the PMRC Social Event. Both of these events serve as an opportunity for recruiters to network with one another and get to know their fellow industry members.
Before the conference is over, we do a giveaway of a variety of items, in the past this has included Louis Vuitton purses, free Virtual Career Fair registrations, geofence campaigns, PMRC registrations for future years, and more!
