Family Medicine Physician - McDonald Army Health Clinic, Fort Eustis, VA

Venesco, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Medicine Physician to provide primary care services at McDonald Army Health Clinic, Fort Eustis, VA. Position Overview:

• Location: McDonald Army Health Clinic, Fort Eustis, VA
• Position: Family Medicine Physician
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with military treatment facility (MTF) privileges.
• Direct, perform, or assist in the training and instruction of healthcare professionals within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Diagnose, treat, and prescribe treatments within the scope of your training, experience, and MTF privileges.
• Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals and health education.
• Order diagnostic tests and request consultations or referrals as needed.
• Provide leadership and education to medical staff, adhering to government and clinical standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. Foreign medical graduates must demonstrate equivalent education and medical knowledge.
• Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine.
• Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an accredited internship and residency program.
• Experience: Minimum of two years as a Family Medicine Physician (experience gained in Residency or Fellowship acceptable).
• Licensure: Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S. or its territories.
