The Department of Radiation Oncology & Applied Sciences (DROAS), an affiliate of the Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), one of the original NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers, the Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, seeks applicants for a
full-time clinical position to serve as the GU Oncology Radiation Oncology Program Leader.
Candidates must be BE/BC in Radiation Oncology and have a strong commitment to academic cancer care.
The FTE allocation will be at 0.4 Research (protected & funded) and 0.6 Clinical.
Boasting ACR accreditation, we are a long-standing member of NRG/RTOG (Lead Academic Participating Site) and participate Alliance & ECOG-ACRIN (full members). The current facutly includes multiple physician-scientists with wet & dry labs. Staffing includes 9 physicians, 6 physicists, 6 dosimetrists, 6 nurses, 20 RTTs, & shared secretarial andadministrative support. We have a fully ACGME-accredited medical residency program and are beginning a CAMPEP-accredited medical physics residency program.
The DROAS treats between 1000-1100 patients annually & are affiliated with multiple rural practice sites in the Upper Valley.
This position includes opportunities for research collaboration with faculty at the DCC, Dartmouth College, Geisel School of Medicine, Thayer School of Engineering graduate program in medical physics, and The Dartmouth Institute. Faculty rank at the Geisel School of Medicine is commensurate with qualifications.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to serve as program leader for genitourinary tract malignancies. State-of- the-art technology including MRI Linear accelerator (ViewRay), Varian HDR and Vision RT, is part of the armamentarium of treatment delivery. Career development for the successful candidate is a high priority of our leadership.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the State of NH
