The Department of Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is actively seeking a board eligible/certified Pediatric Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join both the Divisions of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Critical Care.

Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), the flagship hospital in the Arkansas Children’s system, is a 370-bed hospital with an active medical staff of more than 500. It is both an ACS Verified Level 1 children surgery center and trauma center. Additionally, it boasts the area’s only Level IV NICU with more than 100 beds and suites. The applicant must have successfully completed general surgery residency, an ACGME-accredited pediatric surgery fellowship, and a surgical critical care fellowship and be American Board of Surgery certified/eligible. He/she must also have a strong interest in growing a clinical practice as well as a commitment to research, resident and fellow education, and surgical quality.

The successful applicant will join a division with 6 surgeons and numerous advanced practice providers and specialty nurses. A competitive salary and fringe benefits package is provided.
