Seeking to expand comprehensive Cardiology program by adding additional noninvasive or invasive/non-interventional cardiologists to support our growing program and to replace retiring physicians. Blessing Hospital is a 347 bed regional center in Quincy, IL that serves a 300,000+ population region comprised of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa, serving as the largest hospital system within ~100 miles. Our collegial program currently consists of 4 noninvasive physicians, 3 interventionalists, 2 EP, as well as advanced practice APRNs that assist with both inpatient and outpatient consultation. The opportunity would typically entail one inpatient consultation day a week with NP assistance, with the remainder of the time highly flexible between office, non-invasive imaging, and expansion of our outreach program--the schedule to be defined by the physician. The primary hospital is connected by skywalk to the office. Weekend call coverage would be approximately 1:6, resulting in excellent work/ life balance. The Blessing cardiovascular service line also includes cardiothoracic surgery and growing structural heart, and the participation in structural heart imaging would be encouraged. Cardiac CT and cardiac MR are available on-site.
