Academic Pain Psychologist
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center- Lebanon, NH
  Dartmouth Health's Department of Psychiatry seeks to hire a clinical psychologist to join our pain management services and our academic faculty.  We offer a flexible hybrid work schedule of 32-40 hours per week with care delivered in person and by telehealth, with the option of working remotely on certain days. This position is located at our Academic Medical Center in beautiful northern New England. Ideally, we seek a psychologist specializing in pain management to provide expert services to our patients experiencing chronic pain and potentially other comorbid medical and/or psychological disorders. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for treating chronic pain. While this position is clinical, additional expectations include expert teaching, and psychotherapy supervision for psychiatry and psychology trainees. Moreover, stimulating opportunities for research collaboration and mentorship exist both within the Department and the larger institution. Qualifications

  • Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
  • Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program.
  • Completion of postdoctoral training in pain psychology.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the states of New Hampshire and Vermont.
