Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist for our Maternity Centers in Northeastern Ohio.

  • Candidates should be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with clinical experience to support the full scope of hospital based obstetrical and gynecologic care.
  • The OB/GYN hospitalist is a critical part of our group practice model and assists with perinatal safety at each maternity center.
  • This position balances clinical and academic responsibilities, including supervision of OB/GYN residents and medical students.
  • The Hospitalist will work shifts of 12 to 24 hours in duration.
  • Depending on the location the Hospitalist will be part of a team that includes laborists, OB/GYN hospitalists, in house on call OB/GYN specialists, MFM specialists, nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers in addition to residents and medical students. The Cleveland Clinic is an academic teaching hospital with a full range of residency and fellowship programs.
  • OB/GYN Subspecialty support is provided for each of our maternity units.
  • Faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
  • The Cleveland Clinic has 3 Maternity Centers located in the Cleveland metropolitan region, CC Fairview Hospital on the west side, CC Hillcrest Hospital on the east side, and CC Main Campus Hospital.
  • Fairview & Hillcrest Hospitals have busy obstetrical units, with each hospital anticipating between 4000-5400 deliveries annually.
  • Main Campus Hospital provides specialized care for up to 200 deliveries annually.
