Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, the only Level II Trauma Center in the region, is seeking a skilled BC/BE trauma surgeon to complete a mix of trauma, surgical critical care, and acute care general surgery. Our Level II Trauma Center’s Emergency Department provides care for injured patients from across Southern Illinois and is equipped with a dedicated staff, resources, and leadership.
Southern Illinois Healthcare is a member of the BJC Collaborative, a partnership among healthcare systems throughout Illinois, Missouri, and eastern Kansas. The Collaborative members work together to improve access to and quality medical care for patient, create additional efficiencies that will benefit our communities, achieve savings, and lower health care costs. Through this beneficial partnership, Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis works directly with our Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Director.
