Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon Opportunity – Join a Leading Health System with Advanced Facilities

Singing River Health System is in search of a highly qualified Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon to become a part of our well-established and thriving practice. Our team is dedicated to a patient-focused, collaborative approach and includes three seasoned CVT surgeons. Position Highlights:

• A well-established practice with a robust patient base
• Newly developed hybrid cath lab specifically for structural heart interventions, including TAVR and MitraClip

Referrals:

• Over 500 referrals each year, with a distribution of 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient
• Anticipated patient volume of more than 100 cardiac cases annually

Surgical Support:

• A skilled open-heart surgical team available around the clock
• Dedicated heart operating rooms at all facilities

Call Rotation: 1-in-3 call schedule

Follow-up Care: Initial consultations conducted by surgeons; NP/PA manages follow-ups at 1 week and 1 month

Certification: ABTS Certification is required

Procedures Performed:

• Cardiac Surgery
• Thoracic Surgery
• Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA)
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)
• Structural Heart Procedures (preferred experience)
