Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist - Southwestern Vermont Medical Center

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists, pain management specialists and anesthesiologist assistants. Position would be roughly 60/40 Anesthesia/Pain. Opportunity Highlights * Engaged Anesthesiology / Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes * Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology.  No cardiac or trauma cases. * Pain cases to include epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, bedside procedures; ultrasound and x-ray guidance.  No medication management. * Comprehensive compensation plan to include $545,134 salary, $50,000 sign-on bonus and $100,000 in retention incentives over five years. * Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status * 12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage SVMC has a proud 100-year history as an innovator in health care delivery.  It includes a 99-bed hospital and 25 primary care and specialty practices at nine total locations in the greater Bennington area and nearby New York and Massachusetts.  Through visionary partnerships with Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Castleton University and others, nearly 1,400 employees emulate the values of quality, empathy, safety, teamwork and stewardship to fulfill their mission of exceptional care and comfort for the 75,000 people they serve.  Their collective commitment to quality care and innovation is recognized by the nation's most stringent regulators and the industry's leading professional organizations, including The Joint Commission, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. • Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
• Active hospital staff membership
