OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a BC/BE Physician committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in a Primary Care Medicine clinic.

Practice Summary

  • Location: Primary Care clinics, on and off campus (16 locations spanning the Boise Metro area)
  • Status: Full Time; minimum 0.6 FTE clinical, 0.2 FTE administrative
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per week
  • Call: N/A, included in clinical role

Additionally, the Primary Care Medical Director (PCMD) is the lead provider for their scope of care and assigned clinics. The PCMD will be a clinically active provider within SAMG with an established track record of clinical excellence, credibility, and commitment to Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) and SAMG. All SAMG providers at the PCMD's sites report directly or indirectly to their respective PCMD. The Executive Medical Director (EMD) supports the PCMDs by lending their authority to the PCMDs in their administrative tasks.

As a physician-led and accountable leadership body, the SAMG Leadership Council supports the PCMDs by approving and modifying as necessary the PCMD Job Description as well as also lending its authority to the PCMDs in their administrative tasks. In turn, the PCMDs will support the policies and initiatives put forth by the Leadership Council and provide feedback to the Leadership Council on group and provider issues.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in Idaho and/or Oregon
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho and/or Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA
  • A strong medical background in primary care and desire to provide leadership to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
  • The ideal candidate will commit to patient care while demonstrating and modeling our organization’s Mission, Vision and Values.
