Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a dermatology research fellow to join the Department of Dermatology, located in the picturesque Upper Valley region of New Hampshire.
Fellowship Objectives:
- Assist in the initiation, enrollment, and daily activities of clinical trials.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of investigator-initiated studies.
- Assist in writing investigator-initiated protocols.
- Assist in the recruitment and screening of study patients.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation that will be submitted to the IRB.
- Gather study data and present to faculty and leadership, and at conferences
- Work with faculty, residents, and other staff on publications.
- At the direction of faculty, conduct data gathering of sub-specialty clinics, with an eye on research opportunities
- Assist faculty with research related to their area of interest (i.e. Contact Dermatitis, Hair disorders, Immunobullous diseases, etc.)
The fellow is expected to have a broad knowledge of Dermatological diseases and interest in data gathering and analysis. The fellow should have strong interpersonal and communication skills to aid in their effectiveness in research as it relates to patients, staff, and faculty.
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- All requirements for candidate’s MD/DO degree must be completed prior to start date.
- Must exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident (we are unable to sponsor visas for this position)
