General Surgery Opportunity - Madison, In

NORTON SURGICAL SPECIALISTS, a part of Norton Healthcare based in Louisville, KY, is seeking a board-certified or board eligible general surgeon to join its growing practice at Norton King’s Daughters’ Health located in Madison, IN which is approximately one hour from Louisville, Kentucky and one hour and twenty minutes from Cincinnati, OH.  The group currently has 2 general surgeons and regularly collaborates with clinicians in disciplines such as oncology, gastroenterology, breast health, urology and bariatrics.  Norton Surgical Specialists – General Surgery is a progressive group offering key services within Norton Medical Group, a physician-led medical group that employs more than 2,000 medical providers and offers a strong network of referrals.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Access to on-site technology such as the da Vinci Xi
• On-call coverage for the practice to include inpatient, outpatient and ED call coverage
• Protected base salary plus wRVU production bonus available
• Clinical research support
• Four (4) day work week
• Office suite is adjacent to the hospital and OR
• Strong referral network in place across seven locations
• Only hospital in the county offering GS services.
• Major trauma sent out

REQUIREMENTS  

• Medical degree/diploma
• Residency/fellowship certification
• Indiana medical license or license eligible

About Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital

King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana, has been caring for the community for over 120 years, and opened its primary campus and 86-bed, acute-care hospital in 2013.
