Job Summary
An ophthalmologist has the knowledge and professional skills needed to provide comprehensive eye and vision care. Ophthalmologists are medically trained to diagnose, monitor and medically or surgically treat all ocular and visual disorders. This includes problems affecting the eye and its component structures, the eyelids, the orbit and the visual pathways. These providers are located away from the campus of the main hospital and often practice as their own separate entity.
Job Duties
Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist- Retina Specialist. A Successful candidates will join a collegial and well-established practice with more than 20 doctors representing multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Our new associate will acquire an existing robust practice in their respective specialty. These are fantastic opportunities for new graduates or experienced Ophthalmologists.
