Brown Health Medical Group the affiliated partner of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an opening for a hospitalist at Newport Hospital. This position would be 50/50 days and nights.

About the job:

  • Competitive salary (depends on experience) with additional quality bonus potential
  • Block schedule 5/5 or 7/7
  • EMR is EPIC
  • Position can be full or part-time
  • Schedule would be 50% days (8a-8p) and 50% nights (8p-8a)
  • Closed ICU during the day
  • Procedures optional
  • Patient load/encounters 15 +/- 3 over a 12-hour day shift
  • Outstanding benefits package
  • Malpractice Insurance covered with tail
  • Additional moonlighting opportunities available
  • CME/licensing/privileges/DEA allowance $3,500 per year
  • Research opportunities if desired

About you:

  • Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine
  • Comfortable with procedures, intubation, running codes and rapids
  • Bring a love of job and a passion for evidence-based hospital medicine
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and staff
