Job Description

Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Physician Scientist in the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine division at Riley Children’s Health and the Department of Pediatrics.  Our current group of critical care physicians is a dynamic and diverse group with a commitment to academic development and research while continuing the mission of delivering world class health care. The successful candidate will join IU School of Medicine faculty as assistant or associate professor. 

 The Division of has a robust academic portfolio including an active PCCM fellowship program and a 4th year Cardiac Intensive Care fellowship as well as a wide array of translational and clinical research activity.  This position will be 25% PICU clinical service, and 75% academic in partnership with the division of Children's Health Services Research in the Department of Pediatrics. Academic advancement encouraged, requires grant submission for funding.

Riley Children’s Health is nationally ranked in all 11 pediatric specialties and the Cardiac Program at Riley is ranked nationally in the top 25. Riley Children’s Health boasts a state-of-the-art 36-bed pediatric intensive care unit and a 24-bed cardiovascular critical care unit (CVICU), where the Division of Pediatric Critical Care provides care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. The PICU has approximately 2500 admissions per year and the CVICU admits about 600 patients annually. The Cardiac ICU provides state-of-the-art care including ECMO and Ventricular Assist Device support.

Qualifications:
•    Completion of pediatric residency
•    Completion of pediatric critical care fellowship
•    Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care
•    Successful candidate will be collaborative, accountable, and engaged
•    Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
