Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology – University of Miami, Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery

The Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, a nationally recognized and dynamic program with over 60 years of excellence, is seeking an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology. This role will involve both clinical and research responsibilities, with opportunities to contribute to education, patient care, and community service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients with general dermatology conditions in outpatient settings.
• Diagnose, assess, and prescribe treatment for general dermatology disorders.
• Participate in inpatient care and telehealth services for cruise lines as needed.
• Train and mentor residents and fellows, fostering academic growth and clinical expertise.
• Present and contribute to teaching conferences, department meetings, and educational seminars.
• Engage in research activities, with the goal of obtaining data for future clinical research awards.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinical and research environment.
• Supervise mid-level medical staff as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: MD degree required.
• Certification: Fully trained in Dermatology, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible.
• Licenses: Must hold a valid Florida medical license, DEA license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Experience: Strong experience working with multidisciplinary teams, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative group.
