OVERVIEW

Premier Health is one of the largest comprehensive healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio. It features five hospital campuses, over 100 locations, an extensive network of providers, and several affiliate organizations. 

  • We're seeking BE/BC GI Hospitalists for new employed positions at Miami Valley Hospital -- the area's only level-1 trauma center.

POSITION SUMMARY

The GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures, and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital setting. Ideal candidates should:

  • have an interest in acute care
  • have in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases
  • be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations)
  • possess excellent communication skills be adaptable and flexible for rapidly changing endoscopy needs

Opportunities exists for EMR, ESD, and EUS for appropriately trained candidates. 

SCHEDULE

  • 7 on / 7 off, but open to discussing other options.
