Duke Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hospitalist, Durham, NC (Day and Nocturnist Positions)

Duke Children’s Hospital is recruiting full-time Pediatric Hospital Medicine physicians for a growing pediatric hospitalist service with a leading regional referral center in Durham, NC.  Hospitalist and nocturnist positions available. Duke Children’s is a 190-bed children’s hospital within a 1,100-bed academic medical center that offers a full spectrum of pediatric services and specialties. We seek collegial and supportive team members with a growth mindset.

Opportunities:

• General pediatrics hospitalists services (direct care, teaching and supervision of trainees)
• Inpatient service for children with medical complexity
• Newborn nursery (no delivery responsibilities; established level IV NICU)
• Opportunities in medical education, quality improvement, safety, community engagement

• Exceptional clinical and communication skills, and a passion for patient and family-centered care
• Skilled in collaborative interdisciplinary care, adaptable and flexible
• Committed to the equitable advancement of health for all children and families
• American Board of Pediatrics certified/eligible (General Pediatrics)
