We are seeking a dedicated Cardiologist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. This role focuses on adult patients, primarily in the outpatient setting. Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills are essential, as is the ability to build relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional cardiovascular care to adult patients.
  • Diagnose, assess, and treat acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
  • Build trusting relationships with patients from varied experiences and backgrounds.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

  • Medical degree (MD, DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a residency in Cardiology.
  • Fellowship in Cardiology preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiology preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Unrestricted New Mexico State Medical License.
  • Federal DEA Certification.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology (Board Certification required within two years of hire).
  • Current ACLS and/or BLS Certifications required.
  • PALS Certification required if treating pediatric patients.
