Neurologist (Neuroimmunology) Opportunity at The University of Kansas Health System

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, Section of Neuroimmunology, is seeking a full-time Neuroimmunology MS Specialist to join our growing team. 

Job Description: 

  • Actively participate in the Neurology/Neuroimmunology program at the medical school 
  • Develop independent research projects and publish scholarly publications from these efforts 
  • Attend on the general neurology consult service and supervise neurology residents. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital and in the general neurology clinic. Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a month
  • Provide care to patients in the outpatient neurology clinic
  • Teach medical students in the hospital and in the clinic and provide occasional lectures to medical students  
  • Pursue scholarly activity in the area of neuroimmunology

Required Qualifications: 

  • MD/DO 
  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology? 
  • Fellowship trained in Clinical Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis 
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri?
