We are seeking a board-certified/board eligible Neonatologist to join our growing Ochsner Neonatology Team at one of our community Level III NICU located on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Opportunity Details:

  • The NICU includes 24/7 NNP in-house coverage.

  • The NICU participates in the Vermont Oxford Network and eligible to participate in Ochsner system-based neonatal QI projects.

  • This unique opportunity includes a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience with full benefits, paid relocation, and signing bonus.

About Ochsner GME

Ochsner Health operates one of the nation’s largest independent academic medical centers.  The Ochsner Department of Graduate Medical Education offers a rich history of training past, current and future physicians who will provide care for the communities across the nation.  Ochsner sponsored its first residency program in General Surgery, seventy-seven years ago in 1944.   Ochsner continued to grow and support new Graduate Medical Education over the many years, but especially over the past 10-years with over 50% new program growth. Ochsner currently sponsors over 320 residents and fellows in 32 accredited programs.  In addition, Ochsner is a joint sponsor with the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC), Psychiatry Residency Program, and is a joint sponsor of a Pediatric Residency Program and Plastic Surgery Residency Program with Tulane University School of Medicine (“Tulane”).
