Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

This position is located in the Surgical Care Service Line and will be located on the Fort Wayne campus. THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION AND AS SUCH HAS NO TELEWORK OR REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY.

Responsibilities
This position is for a BOARD-CERTIFIED anesthesiologist who is fully able to function independently and personally administer anesthetics in an operating room (OR) and on call. This is a traditional OR based position for an energetic and well-trained clinician. YOU MUST BE BOARD CERTIFIED PRIOR TO YOUR ENTER ON DUTY DATE.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine.
