Neuromuscular Specialist Opportunity at The University of Kansas Health System

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, is seeking a full-time Neuromuscular Specialist to join its dynamic team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities.

In this role, you'll be attending on the general neurology consult service, overseeing neurology residents both in hospital settings and within the neurology clinic. Patient care in the outpatient neurology clinic will also be part of your responsibilities. You'll play a key role in teaching medical students, providing instruction both in clinic and on the inpatient consult service, occasionally delivering lectures. Additionally, you'll engage in scholarly activity, focusing on Neuromuscular Medicine Disease, with responsibilities including developing independent research projects and publishing scholarly publications based on your findings.

Required Qualifications: 

  • MD/DO
  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology
  • Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship training
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
