Our Practice: Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Inpatient Physicians

New Nocturnist -Hospitalist Opportunity in Saratoga Springs, NY

Compensation: $300k - $340K

Consider this opportunity to practice as a Nocturnist within our Hospitalist Program - Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Inpatient Medicine.  Our group is known as Saratoga Inpatient Physicians (SIP).

Candidates should have a strong background in inpatient care. There are no critical care obligations with this position.

Position: Nocturnist

Schedule: 14 shifts per month

Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Team Structure: Work alongside two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Unit Type: Closed ICU (no procedural duties such as intubation, central line placement, etc.) If a candidate with critical care experience would like ICU coverage, shifts may be available Sunday nights. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Admit patients from the ER and out-of-hospital transfers.
  • Respond to inpatient codes and Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls.
  • Supervise APPs during admissions and code responses.
  • Lead Nocturnist APPs and support their clinical development.
  • Supervise third-year Family Medicine residents on night rotation. 
  • Coordinate patient distribution for the day shift team.

Our group is comprised of 25 physicians, including six part time physicians, trained in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and 10 APP's in our practice.
