Atrium Health Levine Children’s?is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician to join their team of 75 + providers, serving 9 Pediatric Hospitalist locations in the greater Charlotte area. This is a fabulous opportunity to join our dynamic team and work our regional children’s hospital in Concord.

Position details:? 

• Schedule of 11 shifts at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center/month 

• Shifts are usually bundled to 3-4 days in a row. Nighttime JGCC shifts are 6p-7a 

• This will be an inpatient role, including cross-coverage of an average of 12 to 20 inpatients, the well baby newborn nursery, doing admissions to the inpatient service, and providing ED consults at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center.   

• Joining a team of 2 physician and 1 APP that round daily, with Family Practice Residents and PA student at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center.  

• Weekend coverage 1 per every 3 weekends, no home call? 

• Telemedicine privileges available?

Qualification requirements:? 

• Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is strongly encouraged but not required.? 

• Experience with lumbar puncture procedures? 

• Experience in inpatient pediatric medicine is preferred.

Jeff Gordon Children's Center?(JGCC) at Atrium Health Cabarrus has been designed specifically with children in mind.
