Position Overview:

The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine is seeking passionate and dedicated Hospitalists to join the Division of General Internal Medicine. This role is ideal for those eager to engage in teaching, patient care, and groundbreaking health services research in a highly ranked academic center. Job Duties:

The selected candidates will practice in Hospital Medicine and play a lead inpatient role in the multidisciplinary care team. They will have a significant role in teaching, mentoring, and participating in scholarly activities.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degrees
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Excellent communication skills

We are recruiting part-time and full-time physicians at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the Clinical Track, commensurate with experience and training. We will also consider candidates for an Instructor (non-track) appointment.
