Job Description

Indiana University Health is the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, dedicated to providing exceptional care and advancing medical innovation.  Our mission is to improve the health of our communities through excellence in clinical care, education and research.  We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Adult Psychologist to join our growing team in Indianapolis.  In this role, you will provide high-quality psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients.  You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support patients' mental health and well-being, contributing to our commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning. 
  • Provide individual and group therapy to adult patients using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research activities as applicable

Qualifications 

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of Indiana
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
