Adventist Health Kern County Network is actively seeking a mission-minded Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon (Surgicalist) to join its busy and thriving team in Bakersfield, Delano, and Tehachapi.

Emergency On-Call and Clinic Duties:

• General Surgeon to serve as Surgicalist for 15 24-hour on-call shifts per month *additional pay available for any 24-hour call shifts over 15*
• Emergency on-call shifts are scheduled 7 days on and 7 days off.
• Be available for on-call duties, including responding to emergency cases and providing surgical intervention as required.
• Manage acute surgical emergencies effectively and efficiently.
• Provide timely and effective care during call shifts, ensuring continuity of care for patients in need of urgent surgical intervention.
• General Surgery clinic two days per on-call week for new patients and post-operative follow-ups.

The incoming physician must be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.
