Position Highlights
Engage in Diverse and Flexible Practice
- Flex Position: Work between a community hospital and ambulatory surgical center in the Worcester area.
- Case Mix: Ortho, general surgery, urology, plastics, GI (no pediatric or OB cases).
- Call Requirements:
- Home call only: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per month.
- Post-call days built in for work-life balance.
- Orthopedic Surgery Focus: Regional anesthesia skills required.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise CRNAs in the anesthesia care team model.
- Academic Opportunities: Teach and mentor residents in our integrated training program.

- Participate in education, medical simulation, quality improvement (QI) work, and research.
- Join a department that conducts an average of 60,000 anesthetics annually across seven clinical sites.

- Salaries: $447K–$520K based on experience and subspecialty training.

Eligible candidates must have the following:
- MD or DO degree, eligible for a Massachusetts license.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
