Seeking Experienced Periodontist to be Our Next Post Graduate Periodontic Program Director

The Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System is looking for a dedicated and skilled periodontist to join our team in West Los Angeles, CA, as the Staff Periodontist/Program Director, Advanced Education Periodontics. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment while serving our nation's veterans. The position involves providing direct patient care, post-doctoral clinical and didactic education/resident supervision per the program's needs, and oversight of the accredited program to ensure compliance with local and national policies and directives.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-time, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship 
  • Unrestricted license to practice dentistry from any U.S. State, territory, or Commonwealth.
  • Must be Board Certified in Periodontology
  • Preferred Education: Masters’ Degree from CODA accredited school. 
  • Preferred: Experience in teaching

Competitive Salary Range: $225,000-$300,000, Final Salary determination within this range.

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
