Job Opportunity: Senior Psychologist Program Manager
Position Overview:
The Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist Program Manager to serve as the Executive Director of the VISN 16 South Central Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC). This leadership position is responsible for all professional, management, and administrative aspects of the MIRECC, a complex program focused on mental health research, education, and clinical consultation. The role includes overseeing multiple funded research studies, education, and clinical projects.
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Telework: Eligible 1-2 days per pay period
Potential Salary Range: $164,875 - $214,333
Key Responsibilities:
· Direct and manage all MIRECC activities, ensuring the program's success in research, education, and clinical consultation.
· Lead a multidisciplinary team in conducting innovative mental health research.
· Oversee the dissemination and publication of research findings.
· Mentor early-career investigators, fostering the next generation of mental health researchers.
· Collaborate with VA leadership and external stakeholders to advance the mission of the MIRECC.
· Ensure compliance with all VA policies and guidelines.
Preferred Experience:
· Extensive background in mental health research and clinical practice.
· Proven track record of publishing and disseminating research results.
· Significant experience in mentoring early-career investigators.
· Strong leadership skills and experience managing complex programs.
