Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a part-time (0.8 FTE) board-eligible/board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Health Department, which operates both a General Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in Spokane, Washington. This position includes a mix of coverage, 0.4-0.5 FTE at BEST, a well-established partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program for elementary and middle school aged children, ages 7-12. The remainder 0.4-0.5 FTE can be a mix of ambulatory psychiatry consultation, collaborative care consultation to pediatrics, and fellowship teaching and administrative time. Some BEST cross coverage and hospital based adolescent and pediatric consultation psychiatry coverage is needed in a group that operates in a flexible staffing model to enhance collaboration and wellbeing.
