Nephrology Practice Near Boston - Hiring/Transferring of Practice

Position: Nephrologist (Full-Time)

About the Opportunity: This is a unique chance to join or take over an established Nephrology practice in Chelmsford, MA, just outside of Boston. The practice is currently owned and operated by a single physician, Dr. Sepulveda, who is open to options including a hire-to-transfer arrangement or a direct sale. The goal is for the successful candidate to take over by Fall 2025 or early 2026.

Practice Details:

• Outpatient Focus: 60 patients per week in the office, 40 on dialysis.
• Inpatient Coverage: The hospital coverage sees 20 patients per day, with a rare weekend call (7:00 AM—noon).
• Support Staff: 1 RN and 1 Medical Assistant.
• EMR Systems: Cerner for the office; EPIC for the hospital.

Position Highlights:

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule.
• No night call.
• Limited weekend calls (only occasional mornings).
• Partnership with buy-in option or full practice transfer available.
• New grads are welcome, with BC/BE required.
• Competitive compensation ranges from $330K - $500K, depending on physician's chosen workload

Candidate Requirements:

• Specialty in Nephrology.
• Willingness to take over the practice by Fall 2025 or early 2026.
• MD/DO accepted.

Compensation:
