About this role:

As a Physician in Internal Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience.  In this role at Avenues Internal Medicine, you will work with a collaborative team of providers who know each other, work well with one another and cover for each other daily. You will add your clinical expertise and come with a team player’s attitude to provide excellent care to our patients. Open Monday through Friday, 8-5, you will be responsible for 32 patient-facing hours weekly, with one weekday off to attend meetings, catch up on notes, return phone calls, in addition to other administrative tasks as they relate to the role of an Internist. As call is shared among the current providers, you will cover your own patients throughout the week and your colleagues’ every 5th weekend and 5th holiday.

What you’ll bring:

·        MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

·        US-based Residency training in Internal Medicine

·        Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine

·        Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

·        Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

·        Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
