Seeking General Surgeon for Level 3 Trauma Center at Ballad Health in Tennessee

Ballad Health is seeking a trained General Surgeon to join Surgical Associates of Kingsport at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. The physician will be joining a team of general surgeons with current sub specialization coverage for foregut, bariatric and colorectal surgery. The ideal candidate for this position will be doing a mix of elective general surgery and taking call. The practice offers the unique ability to perform a broad range of bread-and-butter general surgery in a supportive environment with the ability to subspecialize.

United States residency is required.

Opportunity Details:

• Bread and butter General surgery
• Shared call with 5 surgeons in a Level III Trauma Center
• 400+ Bed Hospital
• Two Davinci Xi Robots with after-hours staffing
• EPIC EMR

The surgical program at Holston Valley Medical Center consists of 7 general/robotic/bariatric surgeons and a colorectal surgeon, 7 advanced practitioners providing trauma and acute care services in the Level 3 trauma center.
