The Department of Family Medicine at MUSC is committed to expanding their research horizons. Faculty collaborate with esteemed establishments such as the Hollings Cancer Center, the Zucker institute for Innovation Commercialization, the South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute, and MUSC’s Center for Telehealth. The department has had an admirable track record in securing research funding over the past 10 years, with funding coming from several prominent sources such as the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute, Agency for Health care Research and Quality, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Health Services Research Administration as well as private foundation support from the Duke Endowment.
