Division Chief, Endocrinology

The Opportunity

Denver Health, in collaboration with the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, is seeking an experienced Chief of Endocrinology for Denver Health Medical Center. The Chief will provide leadership, strategic planning, and oversight of all care within the Division of Endocrinology.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be an experienced physician with a passion for serving the underserved, improving systems efficiency, and training the next generation of physicians. Active engagement in health services research is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Expand access to high-quality clinical services for underserved populations
  • Lead clinical quality initiatives and develop practice guidelines
  • Mentor faculty, oversee medical education, and promote scholarly activities
  • Manage administrative, financial, and educational activities of the Division
  • Establish communication channels, promote diversity and inclusivity, and drive change management

Reporting Relationships

The Chief will report to the Chair of Medicine and have a matrixed relationship with the Division Chief of Endocrinology at CU-SOM for academic roles.
