Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgeon - AdventHealth Cancer Institute - AdventHealth Celebration

Overview

AdventHealth Cancer Institute (AHCI) and AdventHealth Celebration are looking for a dynamic and board-certified Head and Neck Oncologic surgeon to join our world class, tertiary, Head and Neck surgery program at AdventHealth Celebration, located in Celebration, Florida. 

• Weekly outpatient clinic at AdventHealth Celebration 
• Weekly OR time – (OR and Clinic time could vary based on practice development) 
• Call is managed between the fellows, PAs and MDs in the practice 
• This position will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, established head and neck surgeons, PT/OT/speech pathology, care coordinators along with other key members providing well-rounded, complete pre-operative and post-operative cancer care. 
• Fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Advanced Head and Neck Reconstruction is required and board certification through the American Board of Otolaryngology 
• Candidate can expect the ability to participate in research studies and teaching of general surgery residents on campus at AdventHealth Orlando 
• There is also a Head and Neck Surgical Fellowship based out of AdventHealth Celebration.

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. This practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). (website) AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 900+ physicians in 70+ specialties. We offer essentially every major medical and surgical specialty with the exception of Trauma and Transplant. However, transplant services are available at AdventHealth Orlando, just over 20 miles away.
