Hematology/Oncology Breast & Melanoma Focused Physician at Banner-University Medical Center/University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ

We are actively recruiting for an outstanding Hematology/Oncology Physician with a Breast & Melanoma Focus to join our division in Tucson, Arizona. Our current team consists of 20 Faculty in total: 13 Solid Tumor and 7 Hematologist physicians and 13 APP’s within the Division of Hematology Oncology. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary clinical environment with active research programs. Banner-University Medicine is the clinical partner to the University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC), a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research, and education.

Position Details:

• 1.0 FTE
• (6) Four-hour sessions of clinic per week at 1.0 cFTE
• Administrative Time
• Clinical shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Inpatient E-Service 6-8 weeks per year
• EMR: Cerner
• 2 Year Ramp Up

 We are seeking applicants with:

• Applicants must hold MD or MD/PhD degrees, be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology and be able to meet medical licensure requirements in Arizona.
