OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, a member of St. Peters Health Partners, is recruiting for a full-time Brain Injury Medicine Specialist. Sunnyview, located in Upstate, New York, is a CARF accredited 115-bed not-for-profit freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital with specialty areas in brain injury, stroke, amputee, spinal cord, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Sunnyview provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to the region. 

  • Inpatient/outpatient mix with a dedicated 31-bed brain injury unit shared with a fellowship trained brain injury physician.
  • Minimal weekend call responsibilities.
  • Flexibility in outpatient practice.
  • Consultant support with full time medical coverage that takes night call.
  • Inpatient training site for local PM&R Residency. Resident teaching opportunities.
  • Hospital offers innovative technology, REWALK, EKSO, RT300, XCITE, BURT.
  • Resources for managing brain injury: in house neuropsychology, OT driving evaluations, social work, and experienced case management to assist with complex cases. 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have the following:

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Fellowship training in Brain Injury Medicine preferred
  • New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • NYS license and DEA required.
  • This opportunity is not accepting J1 visa candidates. 

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE 

St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes: 

  • We offer a non-RVU based competitive salary with an innovative bonus structure.
  • Base Compensation is between $250,000 and $270,000 with the ability to earn an additional $50,000 in quality incentives.
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
