The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine is seeking an early career Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our growing adult clinical services team. The neuropsychologist will hold a primary appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and a secondary appointment in the Department of Neurology. Academic appointment at the rank of Medical Instructor or Assistant Professor will be commensurate with experience and potential.

Clinical responsibilities for this faculty position will include outpatient neuropsychological evaluations of adult and geriatric patients with wide-ranging neurologic conditions with full psychometrist support for test administration. This is primarily a clinical role, although research and teaching opportunities exist (pre- and post-doctoral level). Candidates with specific interests in developing interdisciplinary clinical and research collaborations with TBI/concussion, stroke, or neuroimmunology populations are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA or CPA accredited program, as well as completion of clinical neuropsychology internship and two-year postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology. Eligibility for psychology licensure in NC is required. Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology (or eligibility) by the American Board of Professional Psychology is required or expected to be obtained.
