CoxHealth is seeking dedicated Gastroenterologists to join our family!
About Us: Cox Health, a distinguished not-for-profit, physician-run hospital and clinic, is dedicated to delivering unparalleled healthcare services. We are currently seeking a talented Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed team of professionals. Our practice is comprised of 7 experienced physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Position Details:
- Role: Inpatient/Outpatient Traditional Position or Inpatient Hospitalist Position
- Work Schedule:
- 4 days dedicated to endoscopy and 1 day to clinic weekly
- Call schedule is meticulously planned a year in advance, with 7 weeks of day call and 7 weeks of night call annually
- Contract: 3-year contract offering no-buyin partnership from day 1
- Compensation:
- $600K for the first year or greater based on RVU model
- Sign-On Bonus
- Relocation assistance
- Student Loan Assistance: $10K per year for 5 years (total $50K), with eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
- Benefits:
- Comprehensive benefits package, including occurrence-based malpractice coverage
- 403B Retirement plan with company match
- $5K CME allowance
- 4 weeks of vacation
Opportunities and Growth:
- Teaching: Engage in teaching opportunities with University of Missouri students doing rotations through the hospital. Our facility also hosts a Family Medicine residency program, as well as NP and PA student rotations.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the University of Missouri in various capacities (though not officially affiliated).
Additional Information:
- EMR: Transitioning from Cerner EMR to EPIC in 2026
- Visa Sponsorship: H1B visas accepted
- Eligibility: 2025 graduates are encouraged to apply. Board Certified or Board Eligible is required.
