Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services Utilization Management

Salary range:  $291,668.00 - $420,680.00

• 1.0 FTE position (0.6 FTE UM medical director plus 0.4 clinical time in a low-barrier clinical setting – i.e., street, behavioral health access center)
• Hours: 8:30a-5p
• Hybrid (3 days in-person, 2 days remote) but subject to change due to operational needs and departmental remote work policy
• Clientele: safety net, Medi-Cal/uninsured, severely mentally ill, dual diagnosis, homeless/housing-unstable
• Location:  887 Potrero Ave and 1380 Howard St

Deputy Medical Director Behavioral Health Services Managed Care

Salary range: $313,898.00 - $452,426.00

• 1.0 FTE position (0.6 FTE UM medical director plus 0.4 clinical time in a low-barrier clinical setting – i.e., street, behavioral health access center)
• Hours: 8:30a-5p

• Clientele: Adult population
• Currently there is a Behavioral Health Access Center, plan is for a Mental Health Service Center.

Qualify:

1. Current valid CA license to by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California**
2. Current valid CA DEA license from the DOJ**

1. Completion of an accredited residency program sanctioned by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association in a Board eligible Psychiatric medical specialty.
2. Five (5) years of post-residency experience as a practicing Psychiatrist**
