• Primary Hospital: Mission Hospital – Asheville, NC
• Annual Volume: 100,000 visits per year
• Facility Details:
  • Type: Level II Trauma Center
  • Bed Count: 815 beds
  • Emergency Department: Set up in pods based on acuity
  • Specialty Services:
    • Dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
    • Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • EMR System: Cerner First NET
  • Patient Flow: 1.7 - 2.1 patients per hour
• Schedule:
  • Shift Length: 8-9 hours
  • Call Requirements: None

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO)
• Residency trained in Emergency Medicine
