Qualified Candidates for Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) in the Permian Basin will: 

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the department
• Foster excellence in clinical care, research, education, and community service
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care, promote faculty development, and advance the department’s academic mission.
• Manage the ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program
• Develop/enhance fellowships in endocrinology, cardiology, pulmonary, and critical care medicine.
• Maintain a strong relationship with affiliate hospital and their leadership
