More about the Nephrology Faculty Position: 

• Direct the treatment of internal disorders.  
• Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose the patient's medical condition.  
• Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases.  
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.  
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.  
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.  
• Prepare and deliver lectures and presentations on internal medicine to medical students and residents regarding training in various clinical settings, such as hospitals and outpatient clinics.
• Didactic lectures on topics of  Nephrology or General Internal Medicine.  

• MD, DO or MBBS
• Completion of, or in the process of completing a Nephrology Fellowship
• Board eligible or in the process of completing a Fellowship, in Nephrology
• Ability to obtain a TX Medical License
