Family Medicine in beautiful Hayward, lots of practice options! OB optional

We are looking for a strong, patient-centered, team player with a desire to serve in a learning/teaching environment. Opportunities are available both with and without OB. We're looking for someone that loves the small-town atmosphere and a commitment to work/life balance. If this is you, join a current team of 5 Physicians, 4 APC’s and additional staff. Outpatient and inpatient practice. 

Features onsite lab, pharmacy, and X-ray. You'll see about 14-21 patients per day in the clinic, and can round at the local nursing home. Call is shared with other clinics in town, and is roughly 2 weekdays per month and 1 weekend a month (shared with a colleague). Hospital has 24 hour ER coverage.

Hayward is a Northwoods town famous for great fishing, miles of ATV trails, and for hosting two of the world’s top racing events – the American Birkebeiner cross-country ski race and the Chequamegon Fat Tire bicycle race. It’s also home to the world’s largest musky, a giant fiberglass fish statue outside the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. Visit with friends and family in the summer and attend the largest pow wow in North America put on by the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe for a lively look into Wisconsin’s past and present. 

The Provider Placement Program for Wisconsin is currently aware of many family medicine positions in several Wisconsin communities. These positions are both with a large multi-specialty healthcare systems, smaller hospital-based clinics, and independent physician-owned clinics.
