OB/GYN Opening in Montgomery, AL

Compensation Package Overview:

• Base Salary with 3-year guarantee
• Quarterly production bonus wRVU

Candidate Parameters:

• MD – DO
• BE – BC Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Visa candidates: J1 or H1B

Practice Details:

• Reason for recruitment: Retirement 
• Type of EMR utilized: Athena (clinic), McKesson Paragon (hospital) – integrated EMR system between clinic and hospital including imaging.
• Clinic Details/Practice Support:
• Administrative Support Staff
• Each Physician has a Nurse or MA that works with them on their shift.
• Schedule/Volume:
  • Average 20-25 patients/day
  • Mix of patients
  • 45-50 for total group
  • 50/50
  • Surgeries scheduled as needed and block time
  • Both, but eligible for block time after 6 months
  • Surgical Robotics available
  • Level 2 Nursey, more specialty care
• Expected Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8-4:30, Friday 8-12

• 2 infant ventilations
• Will stabilize, but if requires more than a few hours, patient will go to higher care.
• No Midwives or Laborists currently
• Call:
  • 1 in 5 with new person
• Each doctor chooses to take their own practice call, but the others will cover at any time. For example, you can say I only want to take 5 days of my own practice call this month and the partners will take it. This probably needs to be a discussion.
