The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit is seeking a board eligible/certified Gastroenterologist. Henry Ford Medical Group is one of the nation’s largest group practices with 1,900 physicians and researchers in more than 40 specialties. The Division of Gastroenterology employs 40 physicians and provides outpatient clinic and endoscopy services at Henry Ford Hospital and 7 suburban satellites as well as inpatient consultative services at Henry Ford Hospital and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.
Responsibilities will include evaluation and management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, teaching of fellows, residents and students in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, supervision of IBD-focused mid-level providers, participation in clinical trials as a sub-investigator, and engagement with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Candidate will work in a multidisciplinary capacity with colorectal surgeons as well as maternal-fetal-medicine colleagues. Academic appointment through affiliation with Wayne State School of Medicine is commensurate with training and experience.
